Explore the Rangeley Lakes Region by snowmobile via 150 miles of well groomed trails, maintained by three Piston Bully PLB grooming machines and three Mogul Master state-of-the-art drags. Trails connect to all points, north, south, east and west, including the 260 mile international circuit through Canada. In just a few scenic hours, riders can reach New Hampshire and other destinations. Trail maps are available for $5. each plus $1. for postage (check or money order) from the Rangeley Lakes Snowmobile Club, P.O. Box 950, Rangeley, Maine 04970. There are no trail fees, although numerous fundraisers are held throughout the season. For trail conditions, call the Rangeley Lakes Trail System Hotline at 207-864-7336. The season starts as soon as the snow flys in December and has lasted well into April many years.

Please be aware of the Maine snowmobiling reciprocity laws! To snow- mobile in Maine, all snowmobiles must be registered by the State of Maine, except those belonging to residents of New Hampshire. Residents of New Hampshire must be able to prove their residency with a driver's license or other official document.
