For non-sporting types, the region offers a wealth of summer festivals, craft fairs, art shows, musical concerts, and parades. The region also has its' own movie theater, The Lakeside Youth Theater, located on Main Street in Rangeley Village. The theater features a big 30 foot screen with a Dolby Surround Sound system, reclining seats, popcorn, candy and sodas and offers the latest movie releases throughout the summer months.
