Cupsuptic, Magalloway, and North Branch of the Dead River; tour
the ponds to view the common loon and mergansers or cranes and
herons; or explore the coves and islands of one or more of the
seven lakes in the Rangeley chain (Rangeley Lake, Mooselookmeguntic
Lake, Cupsuptic Lake, Upper
& Lower Richardson Lakes, Kennebago Lake, and Umbagog Lake),
or Flagstaff Lake, Maine's fourth largest lake, located nearby
in the Stratton
- Eustis area. All local waters offer excellent paddling for both
