The Rangeley Lakes Region offers all types of camping possibilities...
from drive-up, full-facility campgrounds to remote back-country locations reached by backpacking or paddling in the summer and snowshoeing, cross-country skiing or snowmobiling in the winter.

Full service, public and private campgrounds are located on Aziscohos, Cupsuptic, Webb, Mooselookmeguntic and Rangeley Lakes, and on the Magalloway River in the Aziscoos Valley. Please click here for more information about these campgrounds.

More remote walk-in sites sites are located on Mooselookmeguntic and Aziscoos Lakes, the Cupsuptic and Dead Rivers, and on the small ponds on Saddleback Mountain. The shores of Aziscohos, Cupsuptic and Mooselookmeguntic Lakes offer a number of water-access sites reached only by boat or paddling. Fire permits are required for all back-country campsites. For a fire permit, call Augusta: 207-289-2275. For those hiking the nearby Appalachian Trail, two sites, Piazza Rock and Sabbathday Pond are available.
