BALD MOUNTAIN TRAIL: Enter the trail .8 miles south of Oquossoc off Route 4, on Bald Mountain Road (opposite Bald Mountain Camps). Distance to summit: 1.75 miles. A new 30' look-out tower at the summit offers a spectacular, 360 degree view of the surrounding mountains and lakes. A great hike for families! Picnic tables are located at both the top and bottom of the trail. Summit height: 2,443 feet.

HUNTER COVE WILDLIFE SANCTUARY: A loop network of easy walking trails to view wildlife on Rangeley Lake’s Hunter Cove courtesy of the Maine Audubon Society. The trail can be entered on the west side of Route 4 at the foot of Dodge Pond Hill between Rangeley and Oquossoc. KAMANKEAG POND TRAIL: Enter the trail at the end of the paved section of Quimby Pond Road in the Rangeley area. Go 3.5 miles, and turn left at the marker. Follow trail to the pond. Length of trail: 5 miles.
